As a CVD engineers we tend to be exposed to the measurement of our film stress, The stress are generated by the change in the intrinsic or extrinsic behavior of the film that we are studying. Extracting the radius of curvature change and using the stoney equation to derived the value of this stress in the film is something that we as a CVD engineer routinely oversee and analyzed. But how do we measure the stress the is exerted to the engineer by their work load. This is something that we need to reflect and ponder, as the enormous burden carried by the engineer during his or her work can be daunting and stressful at times. This will lead to burn out situation in some engineers and causes them to have anxiety attacks, sleep deprivation issue and other physical and mental health problem that is detrimental to the productivity of the engineers. The drop in the productivity by the engineers will eventually lead to the loss of man hours and productivity for the company as engineers are hired to solved problem hence a company will continue to linger on issues that they faced
